Master data are basic or foundational data that can be retrieved and selected at various points in your d.vinci system. Examples include benefits, locations, reasons for rejection, and much more.
Configuration
Users with the appropriate permissions can create master data in various categories themselves.
In the menu, navigate to the Master Data page to access all master data that you can create.
Search for the category (see below) and the word create in the search bar of the help portal to find a guide. Example: "Create benefits" or "Create pay grade."

Where can master data be retrieved?
Lists with various master data can be selected in the following areas: Personnel requirements, Job openings, Publications, Job ad templates, Correspondences, Application questionnaires, and more. -
Modification of master data
Additional entries can be added at any time. -
Deletion of master data
Before deleting master data, you can filter lists by certain master data to get an overview of whether they are still being used.
If these master data are used somewhere in the system, the entry will remain in the system even after deletion. However, once deleted, it cannot be added back because the master data no longer exists.
Example:
The category "Management" is listed in the job opening. You delete this from the master data.
The category "Management" remains listed in the job opening.
If you delete the category "Management" from the job opening and replace it, the category "Management" can no longer be selected because it no longer exists in the master data.
How our customers use this
The basic master data are usually created together with us during the workshop for the introduction of d.vinci and supplemented in the first weeks of use. Further additions and changes should always be well-discussed internally, as the new content is available to all users, and it should be clear when which master data should be selected.
