In Onboarding, you can use conditions to make tasks dependent on one another. You can complete blocking tasks directly in the view, without leaving the task you want to complete.
Required permissions: Edit tasks
Proceed as follows:
- Open the task list. You will find it by clicking on the menu item Onboardings – all your tasks are listed there.
Or
Open an Onboarding and you will be taken directly to the tab Tasks, which displays a list of all your tasks. - In the row of a blocking task, press the crossed link icon (Blocked by: XYZ) and then the circle-with-check icon (Complete task). The page for completing the task is displayed.
- Press the circle-with-check icon (Complete task) for the element Dependencies. The blocking task is displayed.
- Complete the blocking task using the button Finish Task.
After finishing, you will automatically be redirected back to the previously opened task. - If several blocking tasks are present, repeat the steps until all blockers have been completed.
Once all conditions are met, the button Finish Task appears in the original task. - Press the button Finish Task to finish the task. The task overview is displayed and a success message appears above the list view.
