The Solution
Create the user in the system, preferably at the top-level organizational unit.
The user needs an email address and a minimal role with permission to view applications and the relevant application statuses.
Important: If the person should not be able to log in but only receive email notifications, set the option "Username/Password" to NO when creating the user.
You can now send the person comments from d.vinci. They will receive an email with the comment and do not need to log in.
If it makes sense for the person to actively work in the system and view basic application data, you can, of course, create a more comprehensive role and set the option "Username/Password" to YES.
