Posting via Multiposting
d.vinci Multiposting offers you three very easy ways to publish your job publications with the Federal Employment Agency.
Multiposting Basic
With the Basic license of d.vinci Multiposting, you can book a multiposting campaign with the Federal Employment Agency for a fee of 10 euros. If the job posting is accepted by the Federal Employment Agency, it will be published on their platform. Interested candidates who click a link in the posting will be forwarded to your job opening. No placement order is issued.
Important:
- Please make sure to follow the important notes at the end of this page, otherwise postings with the Federal Employment Agency are often blocked – either immediately or after publication.
- The 10 euros are a distribution fee for our technical infrastructure. This does not include manual review, support for failed postings, or refunds for blocked postings.
- Legal notice: For most employers, posting with the Federal Employment Agency including a placement order is legally required. Please make sure to inform yourselves accordingly – we are not allowed to provide legal advice. Posting with placement order is available via Multiposting Plus with a separate framework agreement (see below).
Multiposting Plus: Automatic Free Posting
If you have booked Multiposting Plus, your job publications can be automatically and free of charge published on our partner job boards, including the Federal Employment Agency. Again, no placement order is issued. You can find the complete list of free partner job boards here. The free posting must be activated beforehand: How do I activate automatic free posting in Multiposting?
Multiposting Plus: Own Master Contracts
You can store your own contract with the Federal Employment Agency in the Multiposting profile, provided you have the certificate from the Federal Employment Agency. This allows you to publish job publications with a placement order. In this case, postings must be made individually and manually, as there is no automation.
In the master contract, you can store a fixed work location. This ensures that the correct information is automatically prefilled for every posting – saving time and avoiding incorrect entries.
Posting via XML Interface
It is possible to connect the XML interface of the Federal Employment Agency with the interface of your d.vinci system - however, we explicitly do not recommend this. Using Multiposting as an interface is much simpler. When posting via the XML interface, your development team would need to build a connector. This is likely to be quite costly and maintenance-intensive on your side. For technical reasons, we cannot provide this connector.
If you want to request this from your IT team, your colleagues will need the following information about our interface: Interfaces (API)
Via Email to Your Contact Person at the Federal Employment Agency
Do you know the email address of your contact person at the Federal Employment Agency, and are they willing to receive emails with job advertisements that they will then place and manage for you at the Federal Employment Agency (placement proposals)?
Then you can easily create a job publication channel where you store the email address of the contact person. Afterwards, create a new application portal linked to the new job publication channel.
Once this is done, you can simply set the new channel to ON in the job publication and then click on Send Job Advertisement. The Federal Employment Agency employee will now receive an email with all the information.
More details can be found here: How do I configure the Send Job Advertisement function?
Caution
This approach becomes challenging if you want to advertise for multiple locations. In that case, you will need different contact email addresses, publication channels, and application portals.
Important Notes for Posting Job Ads via Multiposting on the Federal Employment Agency
Warning
Please note these guidelines to ensure your job advertisements can be published online by the Federal Employment Agency!
The Federal Employment Agency has strict requirements regarding the content of mirrored job ads from third-party providers. These requirements apply both to individual postings via the Multiposting Online Shop and to transmitted job publications via the Multiposting Plus feature automatic free posting.
Many job advertisements violate one or more of these requirements and are directly blocked by the Federal Employment Agency. This means they do not go online and remain in the status "in progress" or are directly deactivated.
The Federal Employment Agency does not issue an automated error message for this type of posting. The exact reasons can – with some luck – only be determined upon request.
To optimize the chances of your job advertisements being published online, please consider the following points:
-
Violations of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)
The AGG prohibits discrimination based on age, gender, origin, religion, and other characteristics. Further information can be found directly at the Federal Employment Agency: Information for Employers (in German)
The most common violations are age discrimination (e.g., "young team") and discrimination based on origin (e.g., "native language as a requirement").
Note: This is manually reviewed by the Federal Employment Agency even after publication. If the job advertisement text is deemed to violate the AGG by the Federal Employment Agency, the job advertisement will be immediately deactivated without notice. -
Duplicates
The Federal Employment Agency blocks duplicates. If a job advertisement is approximately 90% identical to an already published job ad, the posting will be blocked.
The following counts as a duplicate:-
Identical job ads for different locations
Identical job advertisements booked for different locations are recognized as duplicates and blocked. -
Overlapping durations
Already published postings cannot be scheduled in parallel for a later date.
Example:
Job ad A runs until 30.03. A nearly identical job ad B can only be scheduled from 01.04. onwards, even if its start was planned for 25.03.

-
"Unknown Titles"
The Federal Employment Agency uses a predefined list of job titles. Your job title must be able to match one of these known titles. If this is not possible, the job advertisement will not be published.
Tip: Use common job titles instead of creative or company-specific titles. -
Postal Code and Location
If no or an incorrect postal code is provided for a location, or if the location name is ambiguous, the job advertisement may not be published. -
Imprint
If your imprint is incorrect or missing, the account as a whole may be blocked. Please ensure correct and complete information. -
Profanity
Any form of expletives, swear words, or insults will be blocked by the Federal Employment Agency – even if intended humorously or playfully.
