In d.vinci, notifications about applications can be displayed either with or without the applicant's full name. This particularly affects system emails sent to employees. Depending on data protection requirements, it may be advisable to hide names - for example, when emails are visible on shared screens.
How are applications displayed in messages?
There are two ways applications can be displayed in messages:
-
Without full name
With a link to the application behind the word application.
Example: Application: Application -
With full name
With a link to the application behind the candidate's name.
Example: Application: Mr. George Washington
Note
For data protection reasons, it may be necessary not to display the applicant's name in messages - for instance, when screens can also be viewed by other people.
Controlling name display
Whether the applicant's name is displayed in system emails is controlled via a permission in the roles. Only users with the permission See applicant names in system emails can view the name in emails.
