By creating and using different working times, you can, for example, distinguish between full-time and part-time positions in the job opening. Applicants can also immediately see whether the working time matches their expectations if it is included as a placeholder in the job posting template.
Configuration
Working times are maintained in the master data.
System behavior
-
Number
You can store as many working times as you like. -
Default working times
The following working times are included in your d.vinci system upon delivery:- Full-time

-
Adding to job openings and hiring requests
Working times can be added to the job opening or hiring request. Multiple values can be stored. -
Field schema configuration
Through the field schema configuration in the job opening or hiring request, the Working time field can be shown, hidden, or defined as a mandatory field. -
Placeholder
The working time can be used as a placeholder (Job opening - Working time) in job posting templates and correspondence templates and displayed accordingly. -
Usage by job boards
If job postings are transferred via interface to StepStone, StepStone reads the value and displays it as a clock icon with text (e.g., Full-time). Other job boards may also read the value. For the use of Google for Jobs, the working time is a mandatory field. Without this information, your job postings may not be displayed on Google for Jobs. -
Reports
In reports, the working time can be viewed per job opening. -
Evaluation via reporting interface
Data on working times can be evaluated via the reporting interface. -
Changes
Changes to the naming of working times are immediately visible in all places where the working time is displayed. -
Deletion
If a working time is deleted in the master data, it remains active in the job openings until you manually remove it there. Accordingly, it will still be included in the job posting.
How our customers use this
Our customers select the working times "Full-time" and "Part-time" for almost all job postings. For some job boards like StepStone or Google for Jobs, this information is even mandatory and is therefore configured as a mandatory field when creating a job opening through the field schema configuration.
