Function groups can be selected in the hiring request. These allow you to record the appropriate function group in workforce planning.

You can create as many function groups as needed. -
Sorting
Function groups are sorted alphabetically when created. Other sorting options are not available. -
Field schema configuration
Using the field schema configuration in the hiring request, the function group field can be shown, hidden, or defined as a mandatory field. -
Placeholder
The function group can be used as a placeholder in job posting templates and correspondence templates. -
Filter options
In the application list and the application and job opening overview there is no filter to search by function group. -
Evaluation
An evaluation of function groups is possible via the export of hiring requests. -
Renaming
Function groups can be renamed. The change will be visible in all linked hiring requests and templates. -
Deletion
Deleted function groups remain visible in existing hiring requests but can no longer be selected in new templates or hiring requests.

Customers with works councils often use the Function Groups field to provide the works council with more information about the type of workforce need.
