The pool status is a property of application statuses. It ensures that keywords in the application are displayed as pools. These pools make it easier to quickly identify candidates with specific skills or attributes.
Configuration
See: Getting started with: Talent pool.
System behavior
-
Data protection and consent
If candidates have not already agreed to the extended use of their documents when submitting their application, it is necessary to obtain consent before adding them to the pool. For more information, see: Getting started with: Talent pool. -
Defining the pool status
When creating or editing an application status, it can be defined as a pool status. Common names include "Pool Candidate" or "Pool Talent." -
Final status
The pool status is usually defined as a final status to avoid distorting reporting times and to trigger automatic deletion after a specific period. -
Deletion periods
The pool status often has a specific deletion period ("Delete after"), which should be coordinated with your data protection officer. -
Add keywords
When creating a pool status, the setting Add keywords: Yes is used to ensure that candidates are added to the corresponding pool via keywords. -
Using existing keywords
To avoid typos, it is recommended to use only already created keywords. Example: Instead of "MS Word" and "Word," a unified keyword should be used. -
Display of keywords
If an application status is marked as a pool status and an application is in such a status, keywords entered in the application are displayed in the tab "Pool Candidates" of the Applications menu item. -
Behavior in the job opening
Applications with pool status remain in the original job opening. However, you can create a pool job opening and move the candidates there if it makes your work easier. Just make sure to carefully track the history to understand where the candidates come from. Additionally, this may distort your reporting. It is better to leave the candidates in the job opening they applied for. You can still close the job opening because it is a final status.
How our customers use this
All applications with a keyword in a pool status form the respective pool for that keyword. Customers use these pools to specifically find talents for certain requirements. Using the application list and the field schema configuration, relevant talent data can be clearly displayed and compared.
