Through temporary pop-ups appearing in the bottom right corner of the system, we occasionally display content directly to d.vinci users – e.g., surveys or announcements. This allows us to gather feedback and simultaneously provide important information quickly and effectively.
Distinction from other notifications in the system
The system contains different types of notifications. This article exclusively describes pop-ups in the bottom right corner.
-
Pop-ups in the bottom right corner (this article):
Temporary pop-ups displayed in the bottom right corner, e.g., surveys and announcements. Depending on the content, they can be answered or closed. -
Notification/Warning messages within page content:
Colored texts displayed directly on the respective page (e.g., as banners/infoboxes) are part of the regular user guidance in the respective context and are not part of the pop-ups in the bottom right corner. -
Help Chatbot
In the bottom right corner, there is a permanent chat bubble – if users have the corresponding permission – that opens our Help Chatbot.
Configuration
Pop-ups in the bottom right corner are controlled by d.vinci (e.g., content, target audience, and display timing). No separate user consent is required to display them.
System behavior
-
Display area
The pop-ups appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. -
Scope
For surveys, a progress bar above the first question shows how many questions remain. Announcements usually do not contain a progress bar. -
Individual target groups
The pop-ups can be tailored to specific users (e.g., administrators or users with certain permissions/functions). -
Closing
Users can answer a pop-up (e.g., in surveys) or close it via the X. After closing, the pop-up cannot usually be reopened. Depending on the settings, a pop-up may be displayed again later (e.g., if it has not yet been answered). -
Hosting
The feature is fully hosted by d.vinci and does not require a subcontractor agreement.
How our customers use this
Our customers benefit from pop-ups in the bottom right corner in two ways:
- Providing feedback (surveys): Users answer questions directly in the system. This saves time and enables quick feedback that contributes to the further development of d.vinci.
- Receiving information (announcements): Relevant information can be displayed in the context of usage without requiring users to use a separate communication channel.
