Special characteristics make applications of specific groups of people immediately visible through a badge on the application.
Configuration
If you navigate to the Master Data page, click on Special Characteristics in the list of master data, and then click on + Special Characteristic, you can create a new special characteristic.

Number of special characteristics
An unlimited number of special characteristics can be created. -
Special characteristics provided with the system
- IA: Internal Applicant (not editable)
- DIS: Severely Disabled Applicant (not editable)
- REL: Relatives in the Company
- VIP: VIP Applicant
- REF: Employee Referral
- HRP: HR Service Provider
- BL: Blocklist
For new customers who received the system after 09/09/2021, BL is named Blocklist by default. For customers with systems established before this date, the name of the special characteristic must be manually adjusted in the master data. - GPA: Group of Companies Applicant

Assigning characteristics
The characteristics can be manually assigned during the creation or editing of the application. Alternatively, they can already be added upon receipt of the application through a specific application portal.

Documentation in the application
If a new special characteristic is added or removed, this is documented with an entry in the application history. The logging occurs for all active applications of a person. -
Sorting
In the master data, you can change the order of the special characteristics by pressing, holding, and dragging the -icon for a selected list entry to the desired position. The order of the special characteristics in the master data is applied to all selection lists. -
Filtering
In the applicant overview and the application search, you can filter by special characteristics. -
Modification
Characteristics that are not marked with the gear icon before their name can be freely modified. Those with the gear icon are system characteristics and cannot be adjusted. -
Deletion
If you delete a special characteristic from the master data, it remains in the application until you delete it there as well.
How our customers use this
Many customers set up their application portals for the intranet or personnel service providers with the special characteristic IA or HRP. This means that all applicants who enter through these portals automatically receive the badge. This allows the applicants to be treated according to their specific requirements during the selection process.
